GREAT WESTFIELD RAILWAY |
|
| Great Westfield village green and duck pond, there is even a postman
and his bike in the water, we think he got mugged as it looks like
he,s lost his bag of post. As you can see it don,t matter where we go we just lay track over anything that happened to be in the way

| Beer tunnel going under church, after all this time this branch line
is still only one metre long. A two part DMU lived in there but it,s
no good for this full length 125. Two of these ran flat out most of the
time before the final big chop

| Stray animals are a menace on any railway, specially when they got big
hairy legs like this cat. We had a lot of trouble with hairs on the line,
BR would like that excuse

|
| Another veiw of the church on the hill that delma made, you can just
make out a few sheep on the slope, I,m convinced they move about on their
own when we go to bed

| After trying all types of model effect stuff I found the perfect solution, real coal. Only trouble is we had gas central heating, I got some funny looks when knocking on peoples door and asking if I could have a small lump of coal. When it was all crushed down into small bits and powder it was sprinkled over wet glue and looked just right, even the fine dust was used on the side of wagons. |
|
| One of the last photo shots, we don,t worry about the hairs any more because every thing is covered with cobwebs. The 24v power supply for the control system has been pinched for my burglar alarm, so trains don,t run very far with no points and signals working |
